Oak Island Beach Day
On July 1st, 1999, the Towns of Yaupon Beach and Long Beach merged together to become what is now known as the Town of Oak Island! Beach Day on Oak Island commemorates this merger each year with a full day of fun in the sun and family-friendly activities. Here's what you'll find at your favorite OKI locations:
Middleton Park Complex
8am: Horseshoe Tournament
11am - 2pm: Inflatable rides, youth activities, and food concessions
11am - 2pm: Food Concessions
Oak Island Cabana (SE 46th Street and E Beach Drive)
10am: Registration for Games -First come first serve to participate in the bocce ball, cornhole, volleyball and sandcastle building tournament.
11am: Bocce Ball Tournament
