Welcome to Sherry’s Paradise, a recently renovated 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom Oak Island vacation rental with a private optionally heated pool, Atlantic Ocean views, and beach access almost directly across the street. This pet-friendly beach house sits on E. Beach Drive in the coveted East Beach area of Oak Island, NC. This second-row home is directly across from the beach, combining a central island location with the comforts families and friends want for a North Carolina coastal getaway.

Spend your mornings on the upper ocean-facing deck, where a porch swing, seating, refreshing sea breezes, and beautiful Atlantic Ocean views invite you to slow down. Enjoy those same amazing ocean views from the living room and both ocean-facing king bedrooms, along with pool views and slight marsh views from the property out back. Watch for dolphins beyond the surf, pelicans gliding overhead, and seagulls along the shore during beach walks or while enjoying the ocean view.

Your private optionally heated swimming pool makes staying home part of the vacation. The fully fenced pool area is an inviting gathering place for family fun, refreshing dips, and relaxed afternoons together. Children can enjoy swimming with adult supervision, and the pool offers another option on days when ocean conditions are unsuitable for swimming. With the beach so close, you can easily divide your day between building sandcastles and making poolside memories.

Inside, recent renovations include updated flooring, kitchen cabinets, and bathrooms with tiled showers. Settle into the La-Z-Boy recliner for a movie on the living room’s 50-inch TV with streaming capabilities. All four bedrooms have 32-inch smart TVs, and high-speed wireless internet keeps everyone connected. Ceiling fans throughout add comfort, while toys, books, games, and puzzles provide entertainment for all ages. An assortment of baby equipment is also available for families traveling with little ones.

Sleeping arrangements include two king beds, one queen bed, and a twin-over-double bunk bed with a trundle. Both king bedrooms face the Atlantic Ocean, offering a restful place to begin and end your beach days.

The well-equipped kitchen makes everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners easy. Alongside the kitchen’s main appliances, a freestanding ice maker, air fryer, toaster, toaster oven, panini press, and George Foreman grill provide a cooking appliance for nearly every need or craving. A dry bar area offers space for serving refreshments, and the indoor dining table seats ten.

Take your meals outdoors with a charcoal grill, outdoor dining seating for at least ten, and two picnic tables perfect for a family cookout or lunch by the pool. Front and back covered porches with deck furniture offer additional places to unwind. Enjoy a friendly ping-pong match near the oversized enclosed outdoor shower, which features hot and cold water and a spacious dressing room section for comfortable cleanup after the beach.

Parking and the entrance are located off E. Dolphin Drive. The front yard faces E. Beach Drive, with a walkway to the road providing the quickest route across to the nearby beach access.

This central East Beach location keeps Oak Island restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, miniature golf, and nearby golf courses within easy reach. Sherry’s Paradise is close to Ocean Crest Fishing Pier, making it easy to enjoy pier fishing and expansive Atlantic Ocean views. Explore Oak Island Pier or visit Middleton Park for the Pirate Ship Playground, seasonal splash pad, and summer concerts that are fun additions to a family beach vacation.

For adventures on the water, explore boating, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and other water sports on the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, and Cape Fear River. Nearby historic Southport offers waterfront dining and charming shops, while the Oak Island Lighthouse in Caswell Beach makes an easy addition to your coastal itinerary.

Sherry’s Paradise is pet-friendly and welcomes dogs only, with a two-dog limit and a maximum weight of 25 pounds per dog. A $175 pet fee is included in the rental rate and covers one dog; an additional $50 applies for a second dog.

Pool heat is optional and can be added to your reservation for $100 per day. Please note that heat must be purchased for the full duration of your stay once added.

BEACH CREDIT
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights, April through October, come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more! The choice is yours.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Linens are included with your reservation and contain the following: flat and fitted bedsheets, pillowcases, bath towels and mats, hand towels, and washcloths.

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS
As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7-night minimum with a mandatory Saturday-to-Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons.
